Job Description

Ryan Companies US, Inc. has an immediate career opportunity for a Marketing Coordinator in our Austin, TX location. This position will support the marketing and business development for Ryan Companies’ South Central region and will work directly with the development, construction, and the corporate marketing team located at our headquarters in Minneapolis.

We are looking for a self-motivated individual to facilitate RFQ/RFP design; create presentations for potential clients; to create and coordinate advertising and public relations, including press releases; to develop ideas and coordinate logistics for public relations events, trade shows, groundbreakings, grand openings and industry conferences; to monitor industry competitive marketing strategies and tools to ensure Ryan’s competitive advantage; to execute on standard and electronic direct mail activities (newsletters, announcement cards, strategic mailings, website information); to assist the onboarding process of new employees with materials and biography, to lead project site marketing efforts, to support the construction team (award submission, career fairs, industry organization events and sponsorships, etc) and to work collaboratively with corporate marketing teammates to effectively represent the Ryan brand.
The ideal candidate will have excellent business and proposal writing skills and editing abilities; proficient graphic design skills with demonstrated experience in commercial property development; construction and/or development pursuits or high-end professional services. Successful candidates will have 3-5 years’ experience within construction or an architecture and engineer related, or relatable marketing experience. A Bachelor’s degree in Communications or Marketing is required. Candidate must be proficient in utilizing Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Prezi, Microsoft Office Suite, and knowledge of CRM systems and their uses. Must be able to create, work and deliver within a defined, often short, schedule; and work successfully in a fast-paced team environment. As a leader of the South Central region marketing efforts, the ideal candidate must be able to hold all others accountable for their contributions to top quality products and proposals.
